"DUKE"  ...Ready to Hunt

    Oct 12th, I am hunting with my Grandson and "Duke" ...in the Dunbar, WI area.  We are Looking to find som Partridge (Ruffled Grouse) Duke loves the woods and is developing into a "Mature" Hunter.  He works the woods at a distance of 20-30 yds.  He has adopted, to "Hand Signals", that we use in the house, when he plays with his toys.  He just loves to run without being on a leash.  He listens well and is a lot of "FUN".

"DUKE'S"  ...first "Partridge" (Ruffled Grouse)

    This is the first bird that "DUKE" has retrieved.  It took some "coaxing", bescause he is affaird of evertyhing at first... even when the wind moves the leaves.  He did well with the gun shot, it starttled him at first.  But, he is not gun shy.
